Friday December 20, 2013:
This show was just okay. They didn't really play a lot of the better hits until later in the evening. The PA announcer guy was really bad. It was great to see the best dancer of the night on the dance floor. At one point, a pit even opened up, just so everyone could watch him during Smooth Criminal. They played songs like Don't Stop and Billie Jean. For Prince, they played Party Like It's 1999 and Sexy Motherfucker. For Madonna, they played Like A Virgin, My Baby's Got A Secret, and Vogue. But the PA guy just wouldn't shut up! It was nice to have a moment of silence for the 930 bouncer who passed away recently. RIP Josh! All in all, it was an okay show. Glad to have gone but it was way better when I went to this at Ottobar in Baltimore instead!
