Saturday February 25, 2012:
I love The Ottobar and consider it one of, if not the very, best club in Baltimore. I was very excited for this event and it definitely did not disappoint! My date and I got there at about 10:30 having left my place at 9ish. We danced the night away to Michael Jackson tracks like Man In The Mirror and Bad, Prince tracks like Purple Rain, and Madonna tracks like Vogue and Hung Up. It was great to hear so many old tunes I didn't know yet and to hear the ones I knew of but forgot about. The disco ball was great. Everyone was really into it. I thought about going in the circle pit during a Prince song and knew I could have held my own, but didn't this time. It was fun all the same and such an amazing night. We even took a break upstairs and chatted with the DJ playing synthpop. What a great change of pace from the DC scene!
