Pretty In Pink at the Ottobar

6/21/2014 - My favorite songs from the Ottobar tonight: Ringfinger by Nine Inch Nails, Kiss Off by The Violent Femmes, and Straight Up by Paula Abdul. That was some 80s Dance Party!! No Prince, though. Weird!

Saturday June 21, 2014:
What a night! My girlfriend and I had so much fun at this event! We got there just as it started so to kill a bit of time for people to show up, we went upstairs and watched some guys shoot pool for a bit. Then, we went back down. They played a lot of really obscure 80s, and one of the early songs was NIN Ringfinger, which was cool! Then, at some point, they played Violent Femmes Kiss Off, and The Cure Just Like Heaven, some Depeche Mode, The Clash, Duran Duran, and a whole lot more! Overall it was a great mix even if some of the songs were really obscure and it was really fun to see everyone all dressed up for prom. What a fun day!!
