Bo Bice At The Iota Club
7/1/2012 - Bo Bice tonight with Joey!
Sunday July 1, 2012:

This show was a lot of fun, albeit a small and acoustic one. But, I love the Iota Club. It's so intimate, the food is good, the beer is great too. I went with a buddy and we met up at the neighboring Whitlow's On Wilson rooftop for a drink before heading over. It was a really small show but still really powerful. Someone requested Bo Bice do an acapella song and he said the only one he knew was the national anthem, so he did it, which I thought was fitting because it was so close to July 4. Really glad to see him in person. He did a Led Zeppelin cover in there as well (Whole Lotta Love) and it was awesome to hear him cover The Weight by a band called The Band (one of my favorites!) and an Allman Brothers song (Midnight Rider), as well as a Lynyrd Skynyrd one (Sweet Home Alabama). Fun times, and thanks for coming with me Joey! Oh and it was funny when someone said they loved him on American Idol he replied with 'Oh but you hate me now right' and had a lot of stories to tell.. great audience interaction indeed!
