7/29/2003 - A new Cowboy Mouth album! Yay!!
| 10/12/2003 - Yesterday four of us saw School of Rock, which we all loved! It was such a good movie. Tonight's the Cracker and Cowboy Mouth show! Yay!!

Sunday October 12, 2003:
Four of us in my car to DC. Directions were so easy to the 9:30 club! We got there just at 8 PM and although Cowboy Mouth was supposed to go on at 8:15, they didn't hit the stage until 8:30. We met up with another friend from Wolf Trap there. Cowboy Mouth opened with Light My Fire. They did Tell The Girl, Drummer Man, Uh Oh, and of course Jenny Says. At one point, Fred said "You guys suck tonight, I'm going to close right now with Jenny if you don't scream louder!" and of course a lot of "Gimme some rhythm!". We went back to the merch table after the show and Fred signed a shirt I bought and we got keychains and he signed those, too. I mentioned to him that we started a Cowboy Mouth Livejournal community and he said to email him about it! I also asked how much it would be to book them for a private event and that was about $2200. Yikes! When Cracker came on we decided to hit the road back to Virginia. Too bad we missed the instore Cowboy Mouth performance at Tower Records!
