How does a duck know what direction south is?
9/19/2018 - Awesome! Seen The Crash Test Dummies three times now, would love to see them again!
11/2/2018 - Super exciting day! Locked in Crash Test Dummies for the end of this month ANDDDDD bought my Zaz ticket for her New York City performance! Wish she was coming to DC but at least it's a Monday so I can go up to the city to see her! Yay Zaz!!
11/30/2018 - Even a bad Crash Test Dummies gig is way better than a lot of other stuff out there. It wasn't up to par with what I've seen over at Jammin Java, but it was still a very fun show!
Friday November 30, 2018:

I wasn't so sure I needed to see Crash Test Dummies for a 4th time in concert but ended up getting a ticket all the same. I thought to post on Meetup since I am a co-moderator to see if anyone would go. Someone did eventually get a ticket and it was nice to have a friend come with me so as not to go alone. This was my first time to the Hamilton for a live show although I had been to the restaurant before upstairs for brunch. The show was just okay for me, the other times I have seen Crash Test Dummies at Jammin Java were way better. I think they are better acoustically and not as a full band because the other instruments drown out the music. Plus the sound guy was way off tonight and there was terrible feedback a couple of times and just bad mixing overall. I was also under the impression they would play God Shuffled His Feet in its entirety for the 25th anniversary and all that, but that was a bit of an understatement as they just played the hits and some random tracks thrown in there as well. They closed with the popular MMM song and of course played the Superman Song, How Does A Duck Know, God Shuffled His Feet, and Brad and Ellen did a few duets too. Todd Wright was a pretty decent opener and I liked his song about his dog especially. I was not impressed with the pizza I had at the bar, it was a bit burnt around the crust, and they held onto my credit card instead of just a swipe which is always annoying. So glad I got a great picture with them after the gig though! That made it all worth it, especially since last time I saw them I had Brad sign my concert book!!
