Saturday December 12, 2015:
The Dar Williams concert was fun! 6th and I is a great venue. The audience was really excited and interested in the show. We had a pretty good view. My girlfriend had been a fan of hers for over 15 years, and this was our first time seeing her live! She did her hits Iowa, When I Was A Boy, Mercy Of The Fallen plus some new ones from her most recent album. She gave a lot of background to each song, which was really interesting to hear. During Iowa she invited everyone to sing along with her. She closed the show with her song The Christians And The Pagans, which was appropriate given the holiday season. Afterward, she signed our tickets and even posed for a few pictures!
