Flogging Molly At The Fillmore

1/30/2013 - Upcoming shows include Flogging Molly at the Silver Spring Fillmore, Creed Bratton of the Office at The State Theater and KMFDM also at The State Theater! I even bought an extra for Creed Bratton if anyone's interested!!

Tuesday February 5, 2013:
This was my first trip out to the still relatively new Fillmore in Silver Spring. It's a bit of an interesting drive out there. My GPS took me through the backwoods of DC and Maryland, but I finally got there in one piece and even found free street parking only a ten minute walk from the venue! The opening band, Skinny Lister from London, was awesome. My friend and I both bought their album after their performance. Flogging Molly came on and the show was pretty fun. I'm not really a huge fan but I did enjoy Powers Out and Drunken Lullabies. The Fillmore was packed, though. I'm not sure if I'll ever go there again anytime soon, but hey, good to experience it at least once!
