7/12/2014 - Had fun at the Liz Longley show tonight at Jammin Java, complete with Sushi Yoshi and a 150 Reenactment Civil War earlier in the day!

Saturday July 12, 2014:
Liz Longley was a pretty great show, considering I hadn't even heard any of Liz's albums before the gig. I also didn't even know who Brian Dunne was, but they were both excellent! They were Berkeley students, so maybe that explained it? In any case, Liz did a lot of songs like Camaro, When You've Got Trouble, Unraveling, and of course Dough For Dough, which was great to hear live. It was a very personal and intimate concert, especially since Jammin Java is such a small venue. I also liked their version of Vacation by the Go-Gos. They also did a Bob Dylan song I wasn't that familiar with. Overall, such a fun time and definitely worth going to.
