| 8/27/2016 - Finally made it to the Baltimore Soundstage after a ton of unexpected football traffic! Psyched for Local H As Good As Dead anniversary tour! It's been way too long Joe Daniels!

Saturday August 27, 2016:
Having missed the first leg of their As Good As Dead tour, we were very fortunate to catch Local H in Baltimore for my 8th time seeing them live. Unfortunately, the Ravens preseason game caused us to barely make it on time and we hit at least an hour and a half of extra traffic on the way there. Luckily, we walked in right when the set started! The first set was mostly of Hey Killer tracks and a few older ones like Buffalo Trace. I was really glad to see them play The One With Kid, since Twelve Angry Months is often forgotten about. But they also did Bound For The Floor, Hi Fivin, Fritz Corner, Back In The Day, and even some cover tracks from Black Sabbath and the Rolling Stones. Poor Scott looked old and tired and had a swivel chair because he was on crutches (damn that Jimmy Fallon aka Dave Grohl guy!) but it made the whole evening seem that much more hardcore. It was great to see Joe back and to see Ryan really get into it too. I hadn't realized he played bass as well! Of course I miss Brian St Clair these days, but it was an amazing show and I was so glad we went! We met up with some friends at the show and had a quick bite to eat on the way home, so that was cool to catch up. What a great evening!
