Tuesday September 27, 2011:
This show kind of blindsided me to begin with, because I had already been planning a trip up to New Jersey to see Milow in Hoboken. I still decided to go, because I love the Iota Club too! A buddy went with me and we had a good time, it was a great show. Priscilla Ahn also performed that night and she rounded out the show okay. My buddy Ratul and I met a guy named Greg at the show who was recording it with a fancy recorder, I was rather impressed he waited until he got permission from the venue before starting to even record the show at the beginning! Milow did a lot of his popular songs, one of the ones he ended with was Born In The Eighties. I believe he did his 50 Cent cover too, Ayo Technology. I was bummed he didn't play Never Gonna Stop, which was a new(ish) song, so I asked him about it after the show, and when I explained to him I was going to see him later in the week in New Jersey, he said he'd throw it in that set after touching it up some! I was pretty happy about that and getting to see him twice in one week. Not too shabby. Great venue, great performance!
