3/16/2013 - Yay ska! Yay Princess! My budget can finally afford the beer at a free show!!

Saturday March 16, 2013:
This was a neat show only because of how small the place was. It was some random warehouse building in the middle of Rockville Maryland that was basically a brewery and a small bar. I had a cow, Chocolate Orange and Wheat ale beer, sat back, and enjoyed the free show of local ska bands for St Patrick's Day. The place was so small I had to walk through the band's performance to get to the bathroom, which made for some fun comments from the crowd and whatever band was on at the time. Especially when a guy from the band Princess started skanking in the bathroom while waiting to walk back through another band! Funny. Thirteen Towers was pretty fun. I also rather liked The Originators. I expected more from Princess, though. They're a cover band covering songs like Miley Cyrus stuff and Justin Beiber, but it fell way short for me and I left in the middle of their set. I had to get back to the Virginia side of things to go out that night anyway. But this was a fun warm-up gig and I enjoyed it a lot! Baying Hound seems like a cool brewery, too.
