4/13/2019 - Such a fun day today celebrating Record Store Day in Fairfax Virginia at Mobius Records! Got to see The Loving Paupers, Ponytails And Cocktails, and The Pietasters again! Tam's first ska show with me! Hooray!!
Saturday April 13, 2019:

I've seen The Pietasters at least 10 times now and they're always such a fun band to see! My friend and I started the day off right at the new sushi place in her area then it was only a short 20 minute drive to Fairfax! We parked about a 10 minute walk away and made our way over to Mobius Records. It was a free show which was great and we just had to show ID if we wanted to drink alcohol, which neither of us did. The Loving Paupers were a pretty fun ska reggae type band that sounded great to kick things off! Ponytails & Cocktails were a bit weird but welcomed Steve onto the stage to sing a song with them which was cool. Then The Pietasters came on and played Willis from beginning to end! I've seen them do Piestomp live as well so that makes two albums in its entirety that I've seen them play! Lucky for me Steve lives in Alexandria so closeby so they always play around here! After Willis, which was great, they played a few hits including Maggie Mae and Quicksand. What a great day and we were all so fortunate that the rain held off just long enough for the show to go on, it seems like the rest of the weekend (before and after) is all full of thunderstorms!!
