If you swallow the coin from the wishing well, your dreams will come true in heaven or hell
8/15/2018 - Purchased a Tom Morello ticket for when he comes in October! Not sure about the new Atlas Underground stuff though!
10/6/2018 - We rallied together with The Ghost of Tom Joad, This Land Is Your Land, and of course to end such an awesome event, Killing In The Name Of. Tom Morello also played The Garden of Gethsemane for Chris Cornell. What an amazing evening!
Saturday October 6, 2018:

I wasn't entirely sure what to make of this show. Was it just going to be Tom promoting his new album Atlas Underground? Would he actually have some of his new collaborations with him onstage? I got to the venue by 8:15, and it was scheduled to start at 9 PM. About 9:15 the moderator came on and said a few words then had a conversation with Tom. They showed slides from when he was a kid growing up, his band Lockup before Rage Against the Machine, and working for Senator Alan Cranston (and how he had to quit cause he couldn't tell any callers when they were being racist). Then he was talking about the first Rage Against the Machine album, what it was like making Killing In The Name Of and the Freedom video, how Michael Moore got arrested because they only had a permit to make the video on the steps not the sidewalk, how they got the phrase 'Bring that shit in' on the album by saying it was really an Aztec phrase for freedom called Shitine. Then he played some acoustic songs from his Nightwatchman days like the Garden of Gethsemane which he said was about Chris Cornell and how he received a text from Chris once about a wishing well. It was so cool to hear him play the Audioslave Like A Stone solo as well. The frustrating part of the evening came when he played the entire album really loud with flashy lyric videos. It was cool to hear the entire album before it was released but still kind of frustrating to sit through the entire thing at once! We were supposed to get the new CD at some point, I was a bit surprised they didn't have it pressed for people in the audience yet. I almost left early but I was really glad I stayed as he played The Ghost of Tom Joad and had everyone come onstage with him at the end of the night to sing This Land Is Your Land and he ended the night with everyone screaming the lyrics to Killing In The Name Of. Wow!!
