TOOL at the Patriot Center
6/4/2009 - Just bought my ticket to see Tool at the Patriot Center next month!
7/30/2009 - I had section 103, third row, seat five. $100 for my ticket I got off stubhub.com, $40 for a shirt. Not too bad for a Tool show! What a bucket list concert indeed!
8/4/2009 - I have my ticket for Elbow tonight and I really want to go to gym. But I'm afraid I'll be way too tired to go to both. It's just a shame my ears are still ringing from Tool last week. I just wish I wasn't so freaking busy!!
Thursday July 30, 2009:

I've been to enough shows by now to know exactly what to expect, even though I was a bit worried going by myself that I'd somehow be sandwiched in between two big Tool fans. Luckily, I sat next to only one big guy and a couple with a bit too much PDA going on the other side of me! Security was annoying and there was a no-camera recording rule. I kept my phone in my pocket until opportune moments for a quick picture. I had section 103, third row, seat 5. $100 for my ticket I got off stubhub.com, $40 for a shirt. The vocals went out during Stinkfist and were mixed too low, but it was still a fun show nonetheless. Maynard said a few things to the crowd like 'Welcome Home' at the start of the set and then 'everyone take off all your clothes'. At the end of the set, he suggested we put our clothes back on, so we wouldn't be marked as terrorists! Tweak Bird was the opening act. Drummer was awesome, singer was a bit too Ozzy for me. Tool came on at 9 PM, played until 11. They didn't really move around the stage that much, which seemed a bit robotic to me. I was home by midnight.
