Zaz Sera Toujours Zaz
1/21/2019 - Booked my train ticket to NYC April 20-23 to see Zaz! And coincidentally will be in town for a Passover seder with the family. I love how my personal life revolves around concerts sometimes!
4/22/2019 - Took most of the day easy today, just went down two blocks to 14th street to check out a new Korean restaurant called Zusik for lunch and a Georgian restaurant called Chama Mama for dinner. ZAZ was AWESOME!!!! Loved every minute of it!!
5/17/2019 - Had a nice walk with Nick around town after dinner at Good Stuff Eatery. AND... Got PIT tickets for Zaz in DC!! Second row!! Score!!
9/27/2019 - One more week until I go see Zaz in concert at Lincoln Theater! So exciting!!
10/4/2019 - Had so much fun at Zaz tonight at the Lincoln Theater and glad everything worked out so well and we even got there right on time! Thanks Pri and Tam for coming too!
Monday April 22, 2019:

Zaz was a long time coming for me for sure! I don't often see many shows outside of the general DC/Baltimore area so I jumped at the opportunity to see Zaz the minute I saw the advertisement for her gig at The Town Hall in New York City on April 22nd! Even better, it was Passover (and Easter) weekend! So I asked my aunt if I could stay with her and go to their seder too. They said sure! Sunday we spent at a few museums around New York City including the Met to see Play It Loud: Instruments of Rock and Roll and the Jewish museum where we saw a Leonard Cohen exhibit: A Crack In Everything. When Monday finally rolled around I was so excited! The one and only USA tour date for Zaz and I was going to get to go and it wasn't even in Washington DC!! I took it easy most of the day since I did so much walking around the day before! I only went two blocks to find some Korean food for lunch and Georgian food for dinner! Pretty good! Got to the venue an hour before showtime and wandered around a bit. 7:30 finally rolled around then she started just about 8 PM! I was a bit concerned no photos and videos were allowed but they didn't seem to mind! I had a great seat, balcony, second row! It was awesome to see her play Les Passants, Que Vendra, Comme Ci Comme Ca, Oublie Loulou, Paris Sera Toujours Paris, Je Veux, and of course the closure On Ira. She even did one song in Spanish!! Most of the other tracks were from her latest album Effet Miroir (Mirror Effect). It was just so great to see her energy, her talent, and her charm. I loved EVERY minute of it!!
