Deal's Gone Bad At The Ottobar

11/28/2010 - Just printed out my five Groupons and more importantly my Deals Gone Bad tickets for Friday's show!

Friday December 3, 2010:
That was a long day, when I saw Deal's Gone Bad. I had worked out a day with a friend to go to Baltimore so we could hang out at the aquarium during the afternoon, which was fun. We saw a dolphin show and putzed around town. We really had a lot of fun and it was very relaxing. I also had a phone interview during the day too which was okay. We had sushi for dinner and made it to the club very early, like 3 hours before showtime, way too early. The opening bands sucked. So Damn Thirsty was one of them. I can't even begin to describe how bad the other bands were that we had to sit through!! By that point my friend was pretty antsy so she sat at the bar. I made some friends there who even bought me a shot which was nice. I also ran into a friend from the 8x10 Pietasters/Toasters show so that was nice to see my buddy Kyle again. Deal's Gone Bad were awesome as expected and I had a blast skanking it up! So much fun, even though my friend was super cranky by then. I'd see them again in a heartbeat, but they're from Chicago so it'll be a while before they come through again. Great to finally check them off my list of bands to see! Can't wait to see them again sometime. Hopefully at a ska festival or something, so I won't have to sit through another list of horrible opening bands!
