Local H Renews My Faith In The Band Live!
Enter Review Update:
The Local H and Bad Veins show definitely renewed my faith in the band! I was a little wary coming back for yet another show, but so glad I did! Bad Veins was appropriate, they sounded like The Killers, and did a really good job warming up the crowd. You couldn't have asked for a better opener. I especially liked the I'm Afraid song. The telephone prop was cool too. When Local H finally came on, Scott and Brian opened up with a cover of The National, Terrible Love! Then, they went into some new stuff but the crowd didn't get going until the third song or so. The setlist included some classic tracks like Eddie Vedder, Fritz's Corner, Alive, Hands On The Bible, What Would You Have Me Do, All The Kids Are Right, Rush's The Meek Shall Inherit The Earth, California Songs, Bound For The Floor, and Back In The Day. Pretty damn near perfect! The crowd surged forward so much at first the speakers almost fell over. The venue added two security guys to help contain the crowd and even so a few fights broke out in the pit. I was in the backstage area right in front of Scott the whole time! At the end he crowdsurfed all the way back to the merch booth. He really loved the crowd that night and we loved Local H back. Jon, Nick, and David had never seen them, but we all agreed Bad Veins was great too. The entire show was just unreal!
