Sleeping Beauty 12/23/2002
She looked, he slept.
Under the covers they wept.
She talked, he walked.
Out of the house he crept.
He forgot she was not what he wanted her to be.
Simple, loving, humanly.
Little lies.
Sweet goodbyes.
Forgotten kisses for you and me.
Lost letters, unknown poems.
Nowhere to call home.
Not one day remembered.
Not one day forgot.
Not one day to hell was ever bought.
