From The Warmth Leaps The Cold 11/4/2002
You, the highlight of my life, yet you're not my wife.
Oh, the tragedies!
Oh, the destinies!
The stars themselves shine and twinkle.
The mouse's face sighs and wrinkles.
The holy cheese.
The forgotten nights of you's and me's.
Oh, the serenities!
Your arms that do no harm.
In all the decades to come.
In all the decades that have come.
To become, to believe, to miss.
To have, to hold, to kiss.
I know the stars are distant.
But just what does that mouse know?
It's about to snow.
From the warmth leaps the cold.
Oh, the realities.
