Nightmare 7/7/1997
Twisting, turning.
Breaking, burning.
Lacking hurting.
Just stunning pain.
Crawling.
Backwards, forwards.
Left, right.
Into the stillness of the night.
Echoes boom.
Doom, tomb.
Crash, splash.
Pain.
Black ink fills, spills, surrounds rain.
Confuses the poor helpless brain.
Running scared, hopelessly lost.
Looking for an answer, one not tossed away.
Wake, break.
Snap, crack.
Back.
Remembers dream.
Strange, deranged.
Crazed, hazed.
Sigh.
Morning shine bright light.
Night fade away.
Eyes open wide to seize day.
Nightmare of past answered no questions asked.
Day forms from night.
Slight light turn bright.
Eyes open wide.
New beginning, no end yet.
Bright light forget night of past fret.
Eyes fully open.
Welcome into a new world.
A new birth, one of light, not of the past night.
Something has begun to change.
No more emptiness, loneliness, no more things so deranged.
The future waits, it beckons from every side.
No longer will the future hide.
He cried softly in his sleep.
A deep awakening has just been born.
Until the moon comes again.
Crash, splash!
Burning, turning.
Falling, yearning.
Then the ground hits and stops life itself.
Life is reborn from the nightmare.
Another world of so much fun has only just begun.
