Crazy Little Thing Called Queen

9/15/2023 - Happy new 30 Seconds To Mars and Rachel Sermanni albums day!! Had fun at Almost Queen tonight at the State Theater too! All we need is radio gaga!

Friday September 15, 2023:
Finally made it to the State Theater to see Almost Queen live! Got there about 8:30 and the place was packed!! I barely found a spot on the balcony and had to lean against a railing the whole time. Steve Leonard was a decent opener and had the drummer from Almost Queen on with them. Almost Queen covered the classic Queen songs: We Will Rock You, Killer Queen, I Want To Break Free, Bicycle Race, I Want It All, Somebody To Love, Another One Bites The Dust, Flash, Radio Ga Ga, Fat Bottomed Girls, You're My Best Friend, Don't Stop Me Now, and Crazy Little Thing Called Love. I left during Crazy Little Thing Called Love and it was already 11 PM by that point so I missed Under Pressure, Bohemian Rhapsody, and We Are The Champions. I knew I was missing the biggest songs but I was tired by then and wanted to go home. So worth it though! They sounded just like Queen and that drum solo was amazing too!! Wow!!
