Do You Sleep?
3/9/2005 - You'd probably catch me listening to Kemopetrol, P-1, or Jem, before you'd catch me listening to Lisa Loeb. But, we'll see how her concert pans out tonight.
Wednesday March 9, 2005:

Cecilia The Band and Lisa Loeb was just okay, nothing spectacular. Cecilia The Band was a little too Indigo Girls for me. What I found really interesting was that they were all part of the same family. Dad played drums, Mom did backup vocals, daughter wanted to be Christina Aguilera, another daughter sang with her, and there was a son on the guitar, and a family friend on bass. They even did a Bob Marley interlude of No Woman No Cry that was pretty cool. Then Lisa Loeb came on. I was surprised she was so short! I didn't realize she was originally from Bethesda! I enjoyed her performance a lot. Matt Beck really complimented her well on electric guitar. She opened with Do You Sleep and also played Stay. I liked everything I heard. The conversations she had with the audience were enlightening and overall she was positive and funny with a lot of warm energy around her. Too bad the mic had a few issues.
