8/14/2002 - Going to dinner and an Ozomatli concert! Only 5 more hours! Tomorrow, I should be getting my new dell computer, a Dell Inspiron 8200, 30 gig harddrive!!

Wednesday August 14, 2002:
Having bought the tickets beforehand, we were able to go directly to the doors. However, we needn't have worried, there was nobody there yet. We grabbed seats at one of the tables downstairs by the bar, but decided the balcony would be a better view. The wait proved to be way too long. Even by the time the first band came along, Bio Ritmo, we were both getting tired of waiting. And they played so much Latin music! We both wished there wasn't an opening band. So by the time Ozomatli came on it was about 10 PM and we were both tired and hot. Ozomatli finally started. They came in from the back and played their instruments through the crowd. Their style is Latin and Hip Hop, so it was cool to see. They started by having an introducer say "OZO" and the crowd yelling "MATLI". It was cool to watch, but under the atmosphere, it was a bad night. We had to leave early. Although we only got to see some of Ozomatli, I had seen them before. Oh well, I'm sure I'll see them again someday.
