8/29/2012 (Wednesday), Day 05:
Had a really nice day in Central. Started off under the impression Wallace and I were going boxing but come to find out he meant after work, at the end of the day instead! No wonder! So he left me at Star Ferry so I could explore Central on my own. After a short ferry ride I walked through the mall and up and down side streets. I found an amazing place called the Gingko House near Hollywood Road and had a steak and half lobster! So good!! And only about $40! Had to hang out and wait a bit after I ate because I was so full! Even got a free beer on the house. Wohoo! Also got the waiter to write down Star Ferry for me in Chinese in case I couldn't find my way back later. After Gingko House I wandered around and consulted a doctor about my knee who recommended some acupuncture and special herbs. Eh. I went back home (found the ferry okay) to change and shower. Decided to check out Hong Kong Records which is a cool music store I noticed while wandering around the city. Realized I don't really care much for Asian pop music! Met up with Wallace finally but turned out boxing class was full, so we ended the day up at the Peak for some photo ops. Had a nice dim sum meal to top things off. So much food today! I'm beat!
