Friday February 9, 2018:
What a crazy night last night! I had planned it out with the Washington DC Concert Meetup and 14 folks signed up. Got to the venue at 10 PM, they finally let us in around 10:45! Crystal Method didn't go on until 1 AM. But Bobbie and her husband Sam from the Meetup page found me at the bar and I had fun hanging out with them! Unfortunately nobody else found us last night from the group which was disappointing as I kept checking the Meetup page. There was one missed text that I wish I had found sooner but oh well! I did say I'd be at the bar with a Soundgarden hoodie on so I thought that was a pretty easy way to distinguish myself from everyone else so folks could still find me! It was fun going to a club night and Crystal Method played some classic tunes like Trip Like I Do and Get Busy Child. Pretty sure I heard some Fatboy Slim in there as well! I normally would have stopped at three drinks but Bobbie kept putting the others on her tab so I had a few more over my limit. I was going to Lyft home too but it was $35 so I hailed a cab which brought me home for $25 instead, at 3 in the morning! Pretty cool that entry was free before 11 PM too so I didn't have to pay the cover!
