The Silent Version

2/16/2020 - Had fun seeing Phantom of the Opera at Synetic Theater! A bit different than the Kennedy Center version way back when but still good fun! Was great that Pri could come with me too! Yay!!

Phantom Of The Opera at the Synetic Theater in Crystal City was just okay for me. It was weird to see a silent adaptation of it for sure! I had scored pretty cheap tickets from TodayTix discount app and so invited my friend Pri to come! We got there in good time around 1:30 and it started right at 2 PM. Pretty easy to just take the bus right from my apartment too! Unfortunately a rather tall woman sat in front of me the last minute, so I sort of had to lean most of the time to see the performance. It kind of threw me off that the lead character was a female too in this play. Still it was worth it to go and for only $25 a ticket, why not! A fun way to spend a Sunday afternoon indeed, though I much preferred the Kennedy Center version I saw about 10 years ago anyway!
