3/1/2005 - Another concert next week at Wolf Trap Barns! But for now, The Mosquitos!

Tuesday March 1, 2005:
Juju and the guys pulled it off again! I had last seen them open for The B-52's at Wolf Trap over the summer and that was fun, too. They pulled off a heavier set then which sounded kind of like The Yeah Yeah Yeahs. This time, they included songs Love Stew, Boombox, and Juju & Blue. It was great when Juju sat down during Chris's praise in Juju & Blue. He would say lines like 'She likes fast cars' and Juju would sit and look up at him and nod 'I do!' It was cute. They weren't the most sober, but they were fun all the same. Especially with Juju's rants about South American poverty, the meaning behind avocados, and why she was so drunk. I caught up with them after the set and they signed their setlist! They laughed and said they'd probably mess up their next show because I stole their notes which were on the setlist itself! I ran back to my car and snagged my camera to get a pic of everyone too.
